All Souls Day RetreatSaturday, November 3, 9am-1pm at Columbia City Church of Hope Are there habits of the mind and heart that are no longer life-giving to you that you would like to release? Are there people who have passed away that have modeled for you a more soulful, grace-filled way of life that you would like to honor and emulate? We will be using ritual, music, movement meditation, and scripture to practice ways of letting go in order to create sacred space for new life to flourish. You are invited to bring a photo of a loved one to add to the community altar of remembrance. This retreat will be led by Rev. Jennifer Alviar, an ordained interfaith minister from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. She actively serves as a Worship Team Leader at Columbia City Church of Hope and is currently studying spiritual retreat leadership at Seattle University. Suggested donation $25 with sliding scale option. All are welcome. Please contact Jennifer at moc.liamg|raivlaver#moc.liamg|raivlaver for more information or to register.
