new exhibits at the Columbia City GalleryColumbia City Gallery is pleased to present two simultaneous exhibits June 20 – August 5, 2012. In the Main Gallery, "Crossing the Line" highlights new work by Gallery artists Lita Kenyon, Annie Moorehouse, Matt Murray and Hannah Voss. In the Guest Gallery, we present "Through our Eyes: Filipino American Artists". This exhibit reflects the essence of Filipino visual expression of vibrant colors, rich textures, spirituality and sentimentality through glass, paintings and metalwork. Artists are: James Lawrence Ardena, Weng Gavino, Ricky Montilla, Violet Noriega, Michael Roco and Olivia Zapata. The Artists' Reception for both exhibits is on Saturday, June 23, 5 – 8pm. This event is free and open to the public.

new musical theatre campGotta Sing! Gotta Dance! — The Anything is Possible Theatre Company presents a wacky, wild and wondrous exploration of nature through musical theater where kids for kids ages 6 - 12 will learn the core elements of singing, dancing and acting. August 20 - 24. Teaching the camp will be Laura Ferri (Book-it Theater Company) and Joseph Seserko, seasoned theater professionals with extensive experience teaching, directing and performing in musical theater.
