City Art Farm spring after-school & summer campArt Classes for After School March 26-May 30 Okay so I'm a little early with Summer Camp- but not for Spring Session. The songbirds are back. My tulips are up, and the goats look like big furry blankets. The Spring Session is going to be super fun this year as students claim the vegetable bed next to the chicken castle for their very own. All classes will contribute to the planning, planting, and decorating of the bed. Harvesting will be open to all City Art Farm students. We will be shearing Pearl and Leon in the Felting class some time in April. Spring is a busy time here!

Volunteer to host families experiencing homelessnessMarch 13-20 Columbia City Church of Hope will host up to 14 women and children who are experiencing homelessness. Mary's Place, a day shelter for women and children, is sponsoring this rotating family shelter. We have the space, and we just need volunteers to provide hospitality to families who might otherwise be on the streets as they wait for more stable housing. Sign up online to bring dinner, plan activities for kids, spend the night, or just to hang out for a few hours. Children are welcome and encouraged to volunteer (accompanied by an adult). There will be a training and background checks for all volunteers. Questions? Contact Pastor Darla DeFrance at Church of Hope, 3818 South Angeline, 722-5651 or gro.epohyticaibmuloc|alrad#gro.epohyticaibmuloc|alrad
