jam making partyThe fruit is ripe, we've got a big kitchen, and we're making some jam! Come to Columbia City Church of Hope (3818 S Angeline) at 6pm on Wednesday, Aug 24 to can some delicious summer preserves. Bring your own fruit from the market, your yard, wherever you can get it (or come to the church at 3pm to go pick blackberries in the neighborhood). Everyone is welcome. We'll have jars, sugar, lemons and pectin — but please bring pint or half-pint mason jars with lids if you have them.
