World Food Day + Free Acupuncture!October 16th marks World Food Day. Join the Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City in gathering donations for the Rainier Valley Food Bank and participate in free acupuncture as our way of saying thank you for supporting our community. Food — like health care — is one of the most basic human needs. Did you know that 1 in 6 people on the planet suffer from hunger and malnutrition? That's 1 billion people, an increase of 105 million people from 2008! You can make a difference by bringing your food donations to the Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City between October 1st and 16th. All donations will be given to local food banks. To say thanks, the Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City, located at 3811 S Ferdinand @ Rainier, will be providing free acupuncture treatments all day on Friday, October 16th. Schedule appointments online at www.acupunctureforall.org. |
