Development of Columbia PlazaThe Columbia City Review Committee meets Friday, April 18, at 4:15pm in the Columbia Library. The only item on its agenda:
This is the project's second meeting with the committee. The site is large and centrally located — between the historic core, the school, the park, and the library. The review committee is made up of community members, and they welcome your thoughts. Columbia Citizens have a new page about the project. There's also a discussion thread. Share your insights. |

Glass Heron Unveiling & Ribbon Cutting Ceremonydate: April 26, 2008 Please join us at the newly remodeled Seward Park Environmental & Audubon Center for the unveiling of a donor wall of cast glass and stainless steel, created and installed by SEED's Public Art Program, with local glass artist Mark Ditzler, metal artist Benson Vess, and sandblasting by Cathy Shilts at Dimensional Imaging. The donor wall features a 5'-tall cast glass heron and recognizes over 150 donors whose contributions made the remodel of the historic landmark building at the entrance the Seward Park a reality.
