Now playing through January 17 — Charlie Wilson's War: showtimes.
Is Charlie Wilson's War a good movie or what? We're sorry it's only here until the end of the week. With a zingy script by The West Wing's Alan Sorkin, and with Tom Hanks, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Julia Roberts firmly in charge, it's a movie worth getting up off the couch on a week night and hurrying down to see for the sheer perfection of it. Read more... Coming on January 18: The Great Debaters. Visit www.columbiacitycinema.com and sign up for our weekly newsletter — get movie times delivered straight to your inbox. |

Healthy and Active Rainier Valley Coalition
HARVC is applying to be one of the communities in the upcoming King County Food and Fitness Initiative:
King County is ready for change. Hundreds of passionate individuals and organizations are working to make it easier to eat well, access locally grown food, and live actively, spurred by data showing that half of county residents are overweight and that low-income people and people of color are disproportionately affected by overweight, poor nutrition and physical inactivity. Read more here. We'll turn in the application the end of January then hear if we're selected in February. This is a great opportunity to improve the health of valley residents. |
