Sunday, March 9, 2pm-4:30pm.
This month's reading features local artist and poet Carletta Carrington Wilson.
Wilson will read from her work and the works of other poets, addressing the theme of "Writing into History." Then, we'll open a discussion on how writers have used history and historical events for poetic exploration and inspiration.
The event will end with a Q&A session, followed by an open mic session.
Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
This program is presented in partnership with African-American Writers’ Alliance.
