partners wanted for neighborhood incubator
Want to be part of a collaborative space venture in the neighborhood that not only houses your organization but also resources the neighborhood as a whole? Several neighborhood nonprofits committed to a vibrant Rainier Valley community are conspiring to create such a space in the Columbia/Hillman City area.
Several local community groups, including Community Arts Create and Valley & Mountain, are looking into leasing a space in the Rainier Valley (Columbia/Hillman City area) that will become an "incubator" for community building in the South End. We envision a space that encourages cross-cultural and cross-class connections, arts/creativity, spirituality/faith, music and poetry, neighborhood and cultural pride, economic empowerment, organizing and social justice, co-working space, and direct service in South Seattle.
