community chorus winter session
Looking for a way to connect with your neighbors, have fun, make a joyful noise? Come sing your way into the New Year with the Columbia City Community Chorus. Winter Session starts January 8.
We also have a Children's Chorus.
The CCCC welcomes people of all ages and musical training to come together in fun, inclusive and spirited singing fellowship. There is no audition, and no singing experience is required, just a desire to sing in harmony with others. We are not affiliated with any particular religion or spiritual path. Our guiding philosophy is that singing is a deep expression of our humanity, and singing together opens hearts and builds community.
The CCCC repertoire reflects the rich cultural mix of their 98118 zip code and the soulful inspiration of director and composer Kathleen Tracy. Towards the end of this session we will join with the Columbia City Children's Chorus to perform a benefit concert for a yet-to-be-determined local non-profit doing good work in our neighborhood.
