Southeast District Council

The Southeast District Council is having a joint meeting with the Greater Duwamish District Council on Wednesday, October 24, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the Rainier Community Center. Agenda topics include the City's proposed cannabis zoning regulation and how to apply for the Bridging the Gap Neighborhood Street Fund Large Projects. We'll also hear about the Homestead Community Land Trust, a homeownership assistance program.

Sally Clark and Nick Licata will discuss the proposed cannabis zoning regulation along with other issues of interest. CM Clark is President of the Seattle City Council. CM Licata chairs the Council’s Housing, Human Services, Health & Culture Committee.

7:20 Bridging the Gap Neighborhood Street Fund Large Projects – Art Brochet, Therese Casper, Seattle Department of Transportation

SEDC topics to include: SEDC website and TMF award; City’s bicycling master plan (SDOT) and a Greenways mapping exercise to identify problematic roads and intersections as well as ideal routes in the Rainier Valley.
