Join the Emerald City Rotary and Friends of Hawthorne PTA for another Community Day of Service at Hawthorne Elementary. Saturday, May 19 from 10am-2pm — 4100 39th Ave S

An opportunity for parents, families, friends, staff, neighbors and local businesses to build community around a great neighborhood school!

tasks: plant in the P-Patch, stencil world map on playground, paint CDSA building, repaint railings in front of school and repair basketball hoops.

If it's raining, there are many indoor tasks to be completed too!

Free snacks and coffee/drinks provided. Children welcome.

note to volunteers: Please bring paintbrushes, shovels, spades, gloves etc.
