Ice cream is music to everyone's ears. And we've decided to take that statement to a whole new level — we're calling it Scoopfest 2010!
On Sunday, July 25, from 2 - 5pm , we are inviting neighbors, friends and families of SE Seattle to Full Tilt Ice Cream in Columbia City for an afternoon of homemade ice cream and hometown music — an inaugural event that is being made possible by so many wonderful friends of the food bank.
Full Tilt is at 5041 Rainier Ave S.
It's all free — with donations accepted to benefit the Rainier Valley Food Bank.
Special thanks to so many who have made this possible: KEXP, Seattle Weekly, The Bourbon and Columbia City Theater, Full Tilt, The Femurs, Big Sur, Shenandoah Davis, Jace Krause (Friday Mile) and Kaylee Cole (thank you for the amazing music!), Mt. Baker Rowing and Sailing Center, 206inc., Minuteman Press, Rainier Chamber of Commerce , Columbia City Business Association, Rainier Valley Post and SouthEndSeattle.com. Thank you everyone — and let's go have some ice cream, listen to some amazing music, and support the food bank!
