picnic at the South Precinct
Each summer, the Seattle Police Foundation sponsors Picnic at the Precinct. This event provides an opportunity for precinct neighbors and businesses to come together and enjoy a day of celebration with their local police. Thousands of Seattle residents enjoy food, music, entertainment, as well as an opportunity to meet their local police officers, learn about their local precincts, learn about many of the Department's specialty units, and receive information about crime prevention and community services available in their area.
Picnics are an opportunity for community members to have non-enforcement interactions with police, and to learn about how to get involved in preventing crime in their neighborhoods. Precinct Picnics are free for all to attend.
Saturday, September 10, 1 to 4pm
3001 S Myrtle (Precinct Parking Lot)
