how to start a children's book club
If you've been thinking about starting a children's book club, I'll suggest children's book titles that are fun to read and interesting to discuss in a book group. I'll also share some tips for facilitating children's book clubs.
We'll focus on titles appropriate for ages 8-12 years old and include some graphic novels (comics). I'll hand out a reading list and resources for further information for adults who want to start a book club for kids, as well as information about using the library meeting room. There will be time for children to share a "Good Read" of their own.
For adults and children. August 15, 4 - 5:30pm at the Columbia library.
