CD release, Portland's most-buzzed-about band & more
We've got a great calendar of events to close out July at Columbia City Theater. On Thursday we'll be welcoming Portland's biggest buzz band "Radiation City" and their dreamy, '60s bossa-nova inspired avant-pop.
Friday Soft Hill, Surrealized and Neighbors are sure to bring a party. Saturday we'll be celebrating the release of one of Seattle's best up-and-coming singer songwriters debut album and Sunday we'll be giving praise and helping a great cause with One Summer Night: An evening of Gospel and Jazz to benefit CHAMPS Resource and Service Center of South Seattle.
- Thursday July 28 — Slowwave, Radiation City and The Wild Ones — 8pm / $6
Gaining more notice by the day, Radiation City was named by Willamette Weekly "Most Likely to Succeed" and Be Portland called them "Portland's biggest buzz band." They'll be joined by fellow Portlanders The Wild Ones and Tacoma's Slowwave will headline Thursday night.

- Saturday July 30 — Bryan John Appleby (CD Release Show), Gabriel Mintz and Good Luck Number — 9pm / $8
Local singer-songwriter Bryan John Appleby celebrates the release of his debut, Kickstarter supported record Fire on the Vine.
