free new music showcase & School of Rock soul battle
We've got a great week of live music ahead of us at Columbia City Theater, you're the star Wednesday at Absolute Karaoke in the Bourbon Bar, on Thursday we host a free showcase of some of the best new artists in Seattle, and Friday a double-feature of future best new artists at the School of Rock's Motown vs. Stax soul show.
Here are all the details on what's happening at Columbia City Theater and the Bourbon Bar this week:
- Wednesday June 15: Absolute Karaoke in the Bourbon Bar — 8pm/free
- Thursday June 16: The Collective presents a free new music showcase highlighting some of the best up-and-coming artists in the pacific northwest.
the Best of the New III: Fort Union, Hannalee, Moya, Stephen Nielsen — 9pm / 21+ / free - Friday June 17: School of Rock presents: Motown vs Stax — 6pm all ages matinee / 9pm 21+ show / $10 adv / $12 door
- Saturday, June 18: Afrodesiac Erotic Poetry Party — 9pm / 21+ /$25
