Cinco de Mayo & Ravenna Woods release
We're all about celebrations this week at Columbia City Theater: on Thursday we'll be celebrating Cinco de Mayo and our new chef with special house-made tamales and tequila shots. Friday we'll be celebrating the highly-anticipated new record by Ravenna Woods, recently named one of the Top 10 Best Local Bands by City Arts Magazine. And to top it all off we're hosting a free dance party Saturday … so come shake your tail feathers.
- Tuesday May 3 — Trivia with Tony Kay will be all about music. Bring your A-Game, because our staff, unsurprisingly, is full of music nerds. Free in The Bourbon Bar - the game starts at 8, drinking starts much earlier.
- Wednesday May 4 — Audition for the World Karaoke Championship (seriously) during our weekly Karaoke night. Which, coincidentally, was just written up by The Weekly.
- Thursday May 5 — Cinco De Mayo Specials in the Bourbon: $2 Tamales / $3 Margaritas and Tequila Shots
Later that night: Joe Hagman Trio, BC Campbell, The Parade Schedule - 8pm/21+/$6
- Friday May 6 — Sound on the Sound Presents Ravenna Woods _ (celebrating the release of "Valley of the Headless Men") with Weinland (from PDX) and Fort Union — 9pm/21+/$8 in advance or $10 night of the show
- Saturday May 7 — Columbia City Dance Party with GrüVbox — 21+/free
