Spring Clean 2008

Join us for the 2008 Columbia City Spring Clean

Spring Clean is a Citywide program that runs from April 5 to May 31, 2008.

Want to pull an activity together? Columbia Citizens can use the wiki to organize events.

  • Share the details of your event with neighbors.
  • Let neighbors sign up to volunteer.
  • Coordinate materials and action items.

A wiki-page can be a single, focused spot in which to coordinate your work. It's a good way to share information openly and let people weigh in, while also keeping email overload to a minimum.

Earth Day is April 22. The weekend prior, Rainier Chamber has agreed to coordinate materials and other support offered by Seattle Public Utilities:

April 19 and 20: All Valley Community Clean Up

Celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up your neighborhood. Contact Susan at the Chamber office to get your supplies. We need to get a rough estimate of how many will be at your clean up by April 4 so we can place an order for you supplies.

Other weekends, you can coordinate your event directly with SPU.
