Join us Wednesday Jan. 8th at the beautiful and historic Columbia City Theater for an evening of comedy with some of the best comedians in the Northwest!
We are very excited to announce that our next headliner is none other than Emmett Montgomery! "Born in Utah, based in Seattle, Emmett Montgomery is a storyteller, comedian and artist who first found the stand-up stage in 2004 and has been failing beautiful ever since." A beloved staple in Seattle comedy, Emmett has performed with Reggie Watts, Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry, Maria Bamford (to name a few), and has played Bumbershoot, Sasquatch and Bridgetown Festivals. We look forward to his special kind of comedy magic!
Our feature is Lisa Curtis! She isn't for the faint of heart, here's her quaint bio: "Lisa Curtis is a terrible person. Having worked every job from teacher’s assistant and logistics to phone sex operator and voice of an escort service, it's a small wonder she’s the only one in her family without a criminal record. Fueled by whiskey, cheeseburgers, and raging hormones, she is a stand up comic who has worked every room that no one else wanted to work from British Columbia to Los Angeles (we don’t talk about that one time in Idaho). Winner of multiple irrelevant comedy contests, a bourbon soaked guest on numerous radio shows, and lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time so that she could perform alongside Robin Williams, Lisa Curtis is widely known as a legitimately funny performer - except for by her closest friends who know that everything she’s saying on stage is based on reality and wish she would just shut up about it."
We're also excited to add Tyler Smith and Jeffrey Robert to this bill!
