Please plan to attend the Lakewood/Seward Park Neighborhood Association meeting this Thursday, 3/12 at 7:pm. We need your assistance. We are located at the corner of 50th Ave S. & S. Angeline St.
We had many people show up to our February meeting in which we received wonderful feedback. The meeting attendees discussed a large array of issues & provided additional suggestions about the future of the Neighborhood Association and the Facility.
The 3/12 meeting will discuss four topics:
Building Utilization
Membership Drive/Fundraising/Dues
Branding/Marketing/Newsletter/Website
Program Development
Meeting participants will be asked to participate in the topic area they feel most interested in, passionate about, or have the greatest ability to support. Each topic will be provided a facilitator, a flipchart, and the list of the inputs the board has received through various inputs including the brainstorming session at the February meeting.
The expectation is the groups will be able to make a recommendation on the highest priority areas for their respective working group. The topics may overlap a bit or there may be a sequence the projects have to follow; these details can be sorted out later.
Report Outs (40 Minutes - 10 minutes each)
Each team will need to choose a single speaker to report on the recommendations of the team. Reports should include the following components
What were the highest priorities for the workgroup?
Are there any volunteers to lead the projects identified by the workgroup?
Are there any volunteers to work on the projects?
Is there a time frame the workgroup would like to suggest?
Meeting Conclusion - includes next steps - 10 Minutes
