The Seward Park Playground Improvement Foundation SPPIF has teamed up with the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and Parks and Recreation Department to help design and build a new playground at Seward Park. This project is funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from the City of Seattle, Department of Neighborhoods.
Make your voice heard, attend the first Design Workshop!
We've hired a Landscape Architect to lead us through the design process. However, your input and support are essential to this project. At the first Design Workshop meeting, the first of three public meetings, we'll decide where the playground should be and brainstorm what it should look like. Our goal is to create a unique and interesting play space that enhances both the natural beauty of the park and the new Audubon Center's mission for outdoor education.
