Columbia Citizens

PSE replaced the gasline on our street in January, and I notice that they are preparing to do similar work in other parts of Columbia City. I have learned through this process that PSE is required to restore disturbed vegetation to a level as good or better than what they destroy. They are also required to replace concrete. What I have also learned is that PSE does not always do this in a timely fashion. I had good resolution by working through the customer service department. Our PSE representative is Susan Hempstead and her phone number is 425-604-3750. I intially tried working directly with the PSE maintainence department but this was a waste of time and energy. If grass is disturbed I would recommend that you request the area recieve: two inches of topsoil raked in, sod, and then that PSE water it the day the sod is installed. You must be this specific. The neighborhood is then responsible for watering the sod. Be pro-active!!!!
