Our house was broken into today and a laptop and a few small things stolen. The robbers broke into a basement window and shoved their way past a padlocked door into the main part of the house. Police have been notified — there have been quite a few break ins in the past few weeks in a few block radius from here.

Police hit South Seattle store, looking for stolen electronics

"Police confiscated more than 300 computers and dozens of electronic accessories Friday afternoon from a South Seattle computer-repair shop that investigators say was trafficking in stolen goods.

The nondescript storefront, in the 7600 block of Rainier Avenue South, was one of three related locations South Precinct detectives searched Friday."
