Next Saturday, May 19th, from 11 am - 3 pm, Mt. Baker Blvd. will be closed off in front of the school (at 3013 S. Mt. Baker Blvd- just a short walk up from the Mt. Baker light rail stop!), and they'll have student art, ceramics, and woodwork on display, a marketplace of food and club fundraisers, and some of the most diverse and amazing entertainment you could ever conjure up in a single show.
Vietnamese fan dancers, a steel drum band, a fashion show from the horn of Africa, breakdancing, kung fu demonstrations, tahitian dancing, the FHS orchestra, glee club, rock bands, and more!
Come on down for a taste of high school arts, as they show off our unique and diverse culture.
Free admission, but bring your wallets - lots of cool stuff for sale, from student ceramic-ware to fresh bahn mi sandwiches, heirloom tomato starts to hand made wooden bowls. You can even pay to throw water balloons at members of the glee club - it's cathartic.
