"The local nonprofit SEEDArts, working with a community advisory board, has developed a plan to refurbish and reopen [the Columbia City Cinema] as a "Community Supported Cinema"—but needs to raise $60,000 in 60 days to do it. Donations are being accepted at SEEDArts' website; those seeking more information can contact Jerri Plumridge, SeedArts' director, at gro.elttaesdees|egdirmulpj#gro.elttaesdees|egdirmulpj. All donations are tax deductible; all will be returned if enough money isn't raised to sign the lease."
