IMPORTANT WORK PARTY IN CHEASTY GREENSPACE AT MT. VIEW! Come help us complete the Hazelnut Trail, Beacon Hill/Columbia City's newest urban forest trail! We will be laying gravel on the trail on SATURDAY, AUGUST 6 from 10am-12pm and need all the volunteer help we can get to accomplish this community goal to have a SAFE and WELCOMING trail in our neighborhood. What: The Friends of Cheasty Greenspace/Mt. View have received funding through the Department of Neighborhoods to restore the forest and build social trails in our neighborhood woods. Please come participate in this great new SE Seattle Park! We will be completing the Hazelnut Trail this summer and need all the volunteers we can get to accomplish this goal.
Provided: We provide tools, gloves and supervision for trail building. No experience necessary! :) Please wear sturdy shoes and bring your own water.
