SPD One Day Community Police Academy
For those who have an interest in the Community Police Academy but can't make the time commitment, SPD has developed a one-day Academy, which is a hybrid of the regular 10 week sessions. The one day Academy provides a brief overview of a number of classes given during the regular sessions. Get a look at topics such as patrol operations, procedures, arson/bomb, officer safety, use of force and more. The One Day Academy will be held on Saturday July 16th, 2011 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The application deadline is Friday, June 24th.
Note: All applicants must be backgrounded by SPD.
