We (Mara and Jason) have a sweet, affectionate six-month-old terrier mix named Augie who isn't ready for the dog park yet but would love to play with other neighborhood pups. Looking for other C City dog owners who would be interested in play dates and pup-sitting exchanges to build community between us and our pets. We have varying work schedules during the week and are interested in the possibility of having other dogs over while neighbors are at work (and vice versa) so the pups get as much social time as possible.
Augie is almost 30 pounds and has a bit more than 10 to go. We are still training him but he is generally a very good pup who loves people and other dogs. His best friend in his foster home was a large cat, so he should probably be OK with kitties, too. You may have already met him if you walk around Seward Park or in the neighborhood - in our unbiased opinion, he is devastatingly cute with his black-and-tan coloring, long floppy ears and a fuzzy little black beard. :)
