Hello,
It's Jenn Jones from GATHER.
I am renovating and opening GATHER.
I like to refer to GATHER as a non-traditional gallery with an ever-changing installation space.
The first day GATHER will be open is on Saturday the 14th of June.
There will also be an artist's reception starting at 6p.m. to celebrate the work of Erich Woll. Erich and his family leave in Columbia City so he was a natural chose when I was deciding who should have the first show at GATHER.
Here is my bit about GATHER:
My vision is to create a space that glorifies all that inspires, while at the same time establishing itself as a hub for regaining and discovering new connections.
Reality is brief and connections, opportunities and ideas can slip away while time gains momentum.
Gather the space and gatherseattle.com the website will be the manifestation of ideas intended to create personal revelations.
My inspiration comes from the realization that living and interacting with visual interpretations of intention creates an energy that encourages imagination, bonds friends and can be the catalyst to motivate oneself to accomplish what they dream of doing.
As you can see, It’s really very personal. It’s about discovering connections and connecting people to that which you have discovered. (Sounds like a lot of work.)
Yet I am enthused and interested to share with you what inspires me. I am motivated to create an environment that celebrates and connects people to exciting ideas and engaging objects.
The inaugural show at GATHER will be held Saturday the 14th or June, starting at 6 p.m.
Come meet Eric Woll and his squirrels, ponder your thoughts. There will be a keg of Mannys (free) and Levi Belber glasses for sale. To find out more, or to sign up on the Gather e-mail list, head to gatherseattle.com
See you on the 14th,
Jenn Jones
