Columbia Citizen Brad Meacham announced this morning that he's running for Council. From Publicola:
Brad Meacham announced this morning that he’s running for city council. Meacham, the former head of the Municipal League, said he's going to run against Council Member Bruce Harrell.
Meacham, a former Seattle Times business reporter, currently works at T-Mobile. Meacham, 37, criticized Harrell's stewardship of Seattle City Light: "My opponent has been in charge of overseeing City Light for four years, and yet the agency still has no updated strategic plan after having raised power rates twice in just the last year. That's poor government, and poor leadership."
Harrell, serving his first term, was elected in 2007.
