The City and users are experiencing a problem with the Columbia City SeattleWiFi system. According to Andy of the city Department of Information Technology network staff, the problem started this morning and is affecting a portion of the access points. He spent this morning trying to remedy the situation, however the units affected are not permitting a wireless connection to perform a reboot. Therefore it will require the use of the bucket truck to manually reboot the affected units. NetVersant will not have a bucket truck available until the middle of next week (no exact day yet). When the bucket truck is available he'll be out to work on it. In the meantime, he's going to continue to check them and try and reset them remotely.
Columbia City Wifi out right now
Summary:
WiFi is down right now. Truck out next week to fix it.
