We need some volunteers for our youth program 4 to 6 pm and our morning 9am to 12pm classes at Martin Luther Way Jr. S office and Sea-Tac office15245 International Blvd S.

Work with refugee and immigrant youth, 7-16y.o., as homework tutors and mentors. Help encourage newly-arrived youth with study skills, English, building self-esteem, understanding their new culture, and sharing their cultural heritage.
Monday to Thursday 4pm to 6pm.
9am to 1
2pm Monday through Friday
Assist teacher with a class of approximately 20 English as a Second Language adult students. Work one-on-one or with small groups. Help provide a comfortable, encouraging learning environment where newly arrived refugees and immigrants can express themselves, practice English, and learn about American culture. May have the opportunity to teach a lesson or substitute for the teacher. Ten-hour ESL teaching trainings available on a monthly basis.
