I'm helping someone who hasn't been behind the wheel in quite a few years, still has a license, and just needs to brush up on their skills. Can anyone suggest some large lots nearby that are relatively empty during the day on weekends? This would be for general driving/parking practice before tackling local roads again. Thanks!
How's this for a big, empty parking lot? Not sure it's always like this at the VA. Cruising Cheasty Blvd might be another good transitional step to neighborhood driving, with a slope thrown in for good measure.
While it's not a parking lot, you might want to try the Georgetown area - Between Airport Way and 1st Ave, north of Michigan. There are a lot of Warehouse areas with empty parking lots and many deserted streets on the weekends.
