Food - like health care - is one of the most basic human needs. That’s why the Community Acupuncture clinics of Greater Seattle have banded together to raise awareness for World Food Day (October 16th). Did you know that 1 in 6 people on the planet suffer from hunger and malnutrition? That's 1.02 billion people, an increase of 105 million people from 2008!
You can make a difference by bringing your food donations to the Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City between October 1st and 16th. All donations will be given to local food banks. To say thanks, participating clinics are providing free acupuncture treatments during the week of October 16th.
The Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City located at 3811 S Ferdinand @ Rainier, will be providing free acupuncture treatments all day on Friday, October 16th. Schedule appointments online at www.acupunctureforall.org.
