The Rainier Valley Historical Society is proud to announce the unveiling of our newly redesigned website, one that will allow us to provide much more information about our services and programs, as well as a wealth of information on the history of Rainier Valley and its people.
Visitors to our website will be able to read the “Days Gone By” articles by former RVHS President Marvin “Buzz” Anderson, view slide shows on topics such as baseball in the valley, get information on our latest research projects, and browse through our collection of historic photographs. History mavens may also share their own memories of the Rainier Valley via our "Tell Us a Story" webpage.
Our thanks to the team that made this possible: King County 4Culture for major funding, the Vacca family for allowing us to purchase a collection of baseball photos, NPower for development services, Jon Frank for pro-bono design services, Mikala Woodward, former RVHS director, and the whole RVHS website committee, for putting together this project.
