Full Tilt Columbia City is pleased to say that we have set our opening date as July 3rd, 2009. We are VERY excited to bring our own fresh ice creams, including many vegan options, as well as some great old-school pinball machines and vintage video games. We make our own root beer, and will also be selling a few choice microbrews in bottles.
If you can't wait to try the flavor of things to come, you can check us out now at our White Center location (9629 16th Ave SW). You can also see what Seattle is already saying about us on Yelp http://www.yelp.com/biz/full-tilt-seattle. Some of them are side splittingly funny. The big "scoop" award goes to the Stranger-mere minutes after we twittered our opening date, they picked it up, and posted it on their "slog", which you can read here http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/Comments?oid=1686255 . Rumor has it that they have been watching our twitter for new flavor postings…..
We look forward to serving the neighborhood we live in and love!
Are you still on for opening July 3rd? I was hoping we'd see something in the Wikli about it!
Dang, that's only two days away! :-) I think that I shall bring my daughter!
I just walked by Full Tilt. The dreadlocked owner was exactoing a linoleum pattern on the floor. He said hopefully it'll be open next week.
The owner of Full Tilt ice cream is dreadlocked??? LOL I'll have to go and visit him! :-) Never been to that shop in White Center, but love ice cream!!!

Hee hee… the owner of the CC Full Tilt is bald, but I bet he would love to have all the hair that his friend who did amazing the tile work has. :)
My husband rode by this morning and said the store looked very unfinished. Are you really coming on Friday? Please, no teasing where ice cream is concerned!
Okay, I feel really out of the loop since I have no idea where Full Tilt will be located. The last rumor I heard was on Ferdinand near Rainier but obviously not. So please….do tell.
Inquiring minds need to know…are you gracing us with your presence tomorrow ?!?
Full Tilit tweets they are stuck with permitting - maybe next weekend.

…but you'd know that already if you followed @CCitizens!
In truth, it would have been much more helpful for all of you if I had made this posting yesterday, and I apologize for leaving you hanging. The permitting/improvement portion of our startup has taken longer than I planned, and repeatedly so. We hope to be on location and working by next weekend (the 11th-12th). I am reluctant to make any kind of solid date announcement because "no teasing where ice cream is concerned"! I took my family to our White Center location yesterday, and we had a great time! I look forward to bringing that experience to your families in our neighborhood! I will update you further when we know a little more…

Any update as to opening date? I can't wait for vegan ice cream, pinball and beer in my neighborhood!!
We have set the final inspection date as Thursday, July 23rd, and hope to be open at Noon! Our address is 5101 Rainier Avenue South, #105. We are a 1/2 block south of Hudson Street and Tutta Bella, on the Busy Bee side of the street. There is a parking lot just beyond LEMS bookstore, and before Tina Nails. You will find us in there. Thanks for being patient, we look forward to serving you!
…is now open. The space is not 100% finished, but the ice cream is delicious. Be sure to check it out.
Full Tilt (both locations) will be closed thru the hottest part of today, and will open at 5pm. We are exploring air conditioning options, and hope to find a solution to our "melting" problem quickly! We look forward to serving you after 5pm!
Ken
Ok scratch that, Full Tilt CC will be closed all day today in an effort to combat the heat. We hope to have some portable air conditioners tomorrow, that will help keep the ice cream from melting! Sorry for the inconvenience and late notice!
Have you asked the bald (shaved head) if he's the owner.
Ken, of the shaved pate, and friendly smile, is the owner/partner in CC.
The salted caramel ice cream is mighty fine.
