After a year long hiatus, Orca K-8 School in Seattleās Columbia City neighborhood, will once again hold their legendary plant sale. Come celebrate sustainability and organic gardening by picking up all the vegetable and herb starts that you can carry!
Orca K-8 school has a reputation for its focus on environmental education, sustainability, and social justice. This garden sale fundraiser helps them continue their mission to bring these focuses to Seattle Public Schools.
There will be all your favorite veggie starter plants- broccoli, collard greens, chard, kale, lettuce, basil, many herbs, over a dozen different tomato varieties, and many more! Orca will be your one stop shop for a comprehensive organic garden.Hey- Michelle Obama just planted an organic garden at the Whitehouse- you can too! There will be gardening workshops, art activities, live music, and a delicious bake sale. Stop by and get your sustainability on!
