Three of Dwell Developments projects in Columbia City got vandalized on the evening of Oct. 31st (Halloween)
The personal home of Anthony Maschmedt (Owner of Dwell Development) located at 3916 S. Americus St. was struck first around 10:30 p.m.. About a dozen eggs were blasted at the home and cars parked out front. Then the damage continued at another Dwell home located at 3919 S. Alaska St. (across from Genesse Park)
The vandals hit this house with about 2 dozen eggs all over the entry and the entire North facing facade. Lastly, the wrecking crew headed over to 3508 S. Edmonds St. to finish at Dwell's latest town home project.
Several neighbors spotted a suspicious car, a Toyota SUV, FJ Cruiser circling the block and slowing in front of the house on South Americus. The car is two tone, white & tan or gold and there was a woman and man in the vehicle. The neighbors reported they parked on 42nd and the driver, the guy, got out and headed toward the house on South Americus. Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
