I live, blog, and work, in our neighborhood. today I'm writing to ask you if you might like to volunteer for Full Life Care.

Several local community groups, including Community Arts Create and Valley & Mountain, are looking into leasing a space in the Rainier Valley (Columbia/Hillman City area) that will become an "incubator" for community building in the South End. We envision a space that incubates and encourages cross-cultural and cross-class connections, arts/creativity, spirituality/faith, music and poetry, neighborhood and cultural pride, economic empowerment, organizing and social justice, co-working space, and direct service in South Seattle. If you lead a local organization needing office/event space AND if you are interested in collaborating and cross-pollinating work aimed at a vibrant, healthy, equitable, beautiful, and diverse neighborhood and contact Ben Hunter (artscreatenw@gmail.com) or John Helmiere (john@valleyandmountain.org). In response to community interest we are now offering a martial arts class for children 4-7 yrs old. The class uses kungfu to develop balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and focus while having fun and getting exercise. Tue, Thu 4:30-5pm.
