This is a reminder that our monthly work party is coming up on June 13th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Since a few of us will be out of town that weekend, we will also have a work party the following weekend, June 20th, at the same time. As you all know, this wet, warm weather has really gotten the weeds and everything else growing so there is lots to do to try and keep a handle on the park maintenance. Hitt’s Hill Park is located in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle. The park is bordered by 37th and 39th Avenues S. and by S. Dawson and S. Brandon Streets.
The main entrance is at 5234 37th Avenue S. One handicapped parking space is located at the secondary entrance along S. Brandon St.

Taking the Bus
The number 7 or 9 Metro bus will get you within a few blocks of the park.
Get off at the Rainier Avenue S. and S. Hudson

Subject: Hitts Hill Park — Last Work Party before Winter

Hello!

There is a work party at Hitts Hill Park this Saturday, November 10th, from 10-1. It's the last one of the season before next April. It is an event in conjunction with EarthCorp. We will be doing some planting, invasive removal and weeding. Coffee and treats and pizza provided.

I also wanted to find someone to pass on the email reminder to. I'm just not able to keep up with it. So please email me at greermandy @ hotmail . com and I will give you all info. needed to send out the monthly reminder. You would need to do anything until spring.
