Avenues should be for civil rights heroes" I like it, but why not broaden it a bit to trailblazers in general, people whose lives have improved the world? Civil rights leaders, certainly, but why not also scientists, artists, thinkers? Avenues cross the city. Alleys are neighborhood assets. Wouldn't it be cool to name those for local luminaries?
