Columbia Lakewood Community Church is once again holding our annual candlelight service on Sunday December 18 at 7pm. Come join us, sing Christmas carols, hear the wondrous story of Jesus' birth, and end the service by forming a circle of candlelight as we sing "Silent Night, Holy Night". We'll serve refreshments afterwards.

The church is located at 5005 S Ferdinand St (corner of 50th S and S. Ferdinand St). For more info, contact Pastor Jeffrey Barker - 723-9272 or moc.nsm|2rekrabj#moc.nsm|2rekrabj

pediatric practice in Rainier Valley

Neighbors,

The Urban Impact Health Center is considering opening a non-profit pediatric practice in the Rainier Valley in the fall of 2012. I'm a pediatrician living in Columbia City and have been involved with the formation of this clinic for the past 2 years. We're soliciting parent feedback to best understand the need for pediatrics in our community. Please consider taking 10 minutes to complete our Interest Survey.

Thank You!

When we're not yule tiding this week we'll be welcoming Howe Gelb & Maggie Bjorklund (on Wednesday), watching fiery flamenco (Thursday) and hosting the 3rd annual "Battle in Seattle" karaoke contest (Saturday).
